MUMSA
is the oldest Student organisation at Makerere University.
Founded in 19 dda nnyo, it has produced most of the
doctors in Uganda, East Africa and many more in the
world today. It is an entirely student organisation
but has a Patron who is the dean of the faculty of medicine and many advisors in and out of the
medical school.
It is the umbrella organisation for all
health sciences students at Makerere University. Its
main role is to act as a mediator between the faculty
staff and the medical students.
